Attention should be paid to safety when using (if there are nails or other metal objects on the wood, they need to be removed before use). When planing, different postures should be adopted according to the length of the wood. When feeding, one hand should press down on the front end and the other hand should support the back end of the wood. Long materials should be pushed back as much as possible to keep the wood stable and ensure that the planing surface is completely in line with the electric planing platform, without warping, otherwise the scraped surface will be uneven. After planing, the hand should steadily push forward, and the front hand should move backward with the wood moving forward, preferably directly above the planing blade, to prevent shaking. When planing to the end, the front hand should move forward with the wood and press down, not exceeding the platform, and the back hand should push forward with the tail end. If it is a long material, If one hand cannot press it, it is best to have someone at the front end to hold it, so as to ensure smooth wood planing. Hand electric planers are generally used for rough machining and are used in conjunction with sanding machines.
